Aca­d­e­mics are what we empha­size in this League.  Often times many of our play­ers need spe­cial help and tutor­ing in var­i­ous sub­ject mat­ters.  The cost of pri­vate tutor­ing is expen­sive and some­times get­ting in to see the teacher doesn’t always work.

Even moreso, many of par­ents have been out of school for so long that we even have prob­lems with the sub­ject mat­ter that is being taught.

So here’s a link to the Kahn Acad­emy, a free online ser­vice that has tutor­ing on a vari­ety of sub­jects includ­ing math.

We encour­age all par­ents and play­ers to take advan­tage of this site to help them get ahead in their sub­ject mat­ters.  Par­ents can also ben­e­fit from this by brush­ing up and even get­ting a free aca­d­e­mic edu­ca­tion.  All you have to do is put in the time.
